Alice Fiedlerova began appearing at international competetions while still a young girl. In 1981 and 1985 she was the received Special Mention at the Virtuosi per Musica di Pianoforte contest. Fiedlerová continued in her professional music studies at the Prague Conservatory with professor V. Topinka and later at the Music Academy under Boris Krajny.
While a student at the Prague Conservatory, Fiedlerova also attended piano courses at Weimar, under professor Rudolf Kehrer. Her other activities included the harpsichord as part of a chamber music ensemble. Her talent for chamber music was fully developed in the following years when she collaboated with a number of outstanding soloists including singers Kathy Kessler Price and Reginald Bouknight from the Washington Opera, fleutist Yossi Arnheim from the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, cellist David Sella, and singers Joan Metelli and Andrew Schultze. Fiedlerova went on to perform in concerts at the Young Podium Festival and the South Bohemian Music Festival.
Alice Fiedlerová has made a number of recordings for Czech Radio and Czech Television. In 1997 she recorded a CD with the Prague Hlahos Choir. Tours with a the Choir followed both in the Czech Republic and abroad, where she performed at the Neuchatel (1997) and Neerpelt (1998) Festivals.
In 2000, Alice Fiedlerova was invited to collaborate on the "In Memory of the Czech Terezín Composers Project" as the featured perfomer for the opening concert of the Project. She also participated as the coach for the Master Classes, which were part of project.
Since 2001, Alice Fiedlerova has been collaborating with mezzo soprano Olga Černá, whom she accompanied at the Brücken für die Zukunft Festival at Schwerin (Germany), where music by Terezín composers was performed. In cooperation with the Hans Krása Foundation, Fiedlerova performed in several concerts, in which compositions by P. Haas and U. Ullman were featured. Other activities include collaboration with the Variace ensemble. Since 2002, Alice Fiedlerova is also on a Member fo the Faculty of the Prague Conservatory.
